The Christmas Season is here and people have forgotten how to drive.

You know, the Christmas season is purported to be the greatest time of the year.

Santa Claus, the joys of friendship, good food, good comraderie and best of all, having the joys of giving to others.

As we watch the charitable activities, toys for children, cooking for those in the greatest need, it looks like a Rockwell painting.

But then you drive!

People think during this time of year, it’s perfectly okay to turn right from the left center lane, run red lights by minutes, not seconds and do their best to cut off every other driver on the road. Just to get to the mall, dinner, or some party.

I haven’t looked up the statistics, but I would bet that traffic wrecks, fatalities, and just damned stupid driving accelerates during the season.

Folks, leave earlier, plan on being late, be kind to your fellow drivers and take a goddamned Vallium and enjoy the season!
